Gosnold’s Garden Gruit

Gruit 4.8% ABV

A Gruit is an unhopped beer style produced before the 16 th century. Instead of hops, traditional gruits were made using local herbs and spices. Our take on the gruit style is made using lemongrass, chamomile, star anise, and rosemary.

MVP – Martha’s Vanilla Porter

English Porter 5% ABV

Dark and mysterious as the islands past, this brew uses rich dark chocolate and roasted barley to balance out sweet vanilla bean. Crafted to replenish the body and mind after a long day of work or fun, sit back relax and let your taste buds take over the work.

Farmhouse Peppercorn Saison

Saison 5.5% ABV

Traditional farmhouse Saisons were brewed using local ingredients grown around the brewery. Our Saison uses hops grown at our brewery on Martha’s Vineyard. Fermented using Trappist ale yeast, this spring time brew has strong yeast esters, a hint of earthy hop character, and finishes off with a peppery aftertaste from crushed rainbow peppercorns.

Big Bad Belgian Quad

Belgian Quad 11% ABV

This bad boy comes in at 11% ABV but very deceitful when it comes to taste. Brewed using Belgian candied syrup, the malt forward body with hints of plums starts off with a rush of flavor and finishes off with a sweet nectar flavor. Sip with caution!

Patio IPA

India Pale Ale (IPA) 6.5% ABV

A beer that was grown right here on our patio! A traditional American IPA brewed using only hops grown last year on our patio at the Farmhouse brewery on MV. No Man’s Land Amber Ale

Amber Ale 6.3% ABV

Named after the uninhabited island off of the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, this beer is tied into the roots of the island. Originally a large importer of molasses from the Caribbean, the island was a stop over for boats destined for Boston Harbor. This beer is brewed using molasses for a sweet yet bitter flavor.

Strawberry Blonde

Golden/Blonde Ale 5% ABV

Very light, very approachable, and filled full of flavor, this take on a Blonde ale is packed full of juicy strawberry flavor. With a light malt backbone and a hint of Belgian candied syrup this beer is a dessert in a glass.

Light Lager 4.5% ABV

Named for the men and woman who spent their lives protecting the sailors that were the life line of this island. The perfect beer for a hot sunny day on Martha’s Vineyard. Low in alcohol, calories, and carbohydrates, this beer is light in body, crisp, and refreshing. Have one to help beat the heat, or have a few and relax in the shade.

Aquinnah Weisse

Berliner Weisse 3.5% ABV

A German unfiltered, sour, wheat beer. Brewed using mainly wheat, this beer is very light in body and alcohol content. Soured in the kettle using yogurt from Mermaid Farms and then aged on local sour cherries, this beer is very fruity and tart. Once it hits your lips you will be asking for more.

Hopback Whale IPA

India Pale Ale (IPA) 5.7% ABV

A “hopback” is a vessel used in brewing to add more hops to a batch of beer than the fermenters can hold. This batch uses 5 pound of hops per barrel of beer. With all the added hop character and aroma, there is not an increase in bitterness. Still very easy drinking this IPA has notes of tangerine, passion fruit, and other tropical fruits.

Blueberry Abbey Road

Abbey Ale 5.5% ABV

Brewed in the style of original Trappist monastery ales, this beer has a medium body, pronounced fruity and cereal flavor, and a distinct blueberry aroma and flavor. Aged on 35 pounds of fresh island grown blueberries, this brew has a distinct New England twist on a traditional style of beer.

Island ALEpaca

A great easy drinking beer style that often gets over looked. With a nice malty backbone, medium body, and just the right touch of earthy and piney hops. This well rounded beer is worthy of as much attention as any crazy hop IPA.

Pumpkin Pie Dubbel

Belgian Dubbel 7% ABV

A Dubbel is a traditional Trappist ale style of beer that is heavy in body and flavor. Ours is brewed using Belgian candied sugar, oven roasted island pumpkins, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla bean. Only produced once the fall nights begin to get crisp, this beer is like a warm slice of pumpkin pie.

Cran Vienna Lager

Vienna Lager 5.8% ABV

A Vienna lager is traditionally a lighter, sweeter German lager. Brewed using only German malt and hops, this beer has a distinct New England twist. Using the native local cranberries tart flavor to balance out the sweet German lager, this beer is the perfect fall beer for Massachusetts.
